At Norwood Physical Therapy, we currently have five Physical Therapists and four Physical Therapist aides.

  • Mike, MSPT, Owner
  • Mike, MSPT, Owner

    Mike earned his master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College and a bachelor’s degree from Boston College. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Mike has more than 18 years of experience in orthopedics. Mike has developed expertise in rehabilitation of patients with sports injuries. He is certified in the McKenzie approach for spine treatment. He has taken post graduate courses in myofascial release and strain-counterstrain manual techniques.

  • Teri, DPT

    Teri earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in May of 2011. Prior to entering the PT field, Teri earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and worked for a biotechnology company. Teri combines her engineering background with physical therapy principles to focus on and improve the biomechanics related to injuries. Teri is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses. Special interests include the rehabilitation of sports related injuries and neurological conditions.

  • Barbara, MSPT

    Barbara earned her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Connecticut in 2003. She has experience working with a wide range of patients with varied orthopedic and neurological conditions. Her special interests include orthopedic and sport related injuries, knee and foot rehabilitation as well as balance and gait analysis and fall risk prevention in the elderly. She has taken post-graduate courses in muscle energy techniques, Mulligan mobilizations, and biomechanics of gait.

  • Andrea, PTA

    Andrea earned a PTA degree from North Shore Community College in May 2020. She has clinical experience working in an outpatient setting where she treated various orthopedic injuries such as TKR, ACL repairs, frozen shoulders, ankle sprains, and back pain. Prior to going back to school, Andrea has been working for last 4 years as an aide here at NPT.

  • Carol Figueiredo, DPT

    Carol earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Simmons University in May of 2021. She has experience working with a variety of different patient populations and diagnoses including vestibular disorders, orthopedic injuries, and gait/balance conditions. She uses her passion for athletics and distance running as well as her Spanish and Portuguese language skills to reach a diverse community and assist in rehabilitating patients of all backgrounds.

  • Ryan Hicks, DPT

    Ryan earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Quinnipiac University in May 2022. He has experience treating patients of all ages with a variety of diagnoses in orthopedics with a special interest in sport-related injuries, high school athletes, and golfers. Ryan is certified in Mulligan Concept Lower Quarter Spinal and Peripheral Manual Therapy Techniques and continuing education with Titleist Performance Institute.
