Meet our staff

Mike Kane, MSPT

Mike earned his master's degree in Physical Therapy from Simmons College and a bachelor's degree from Boston College. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. Mike has more than 10 years of experience in orthopedics. Mike has developed expertise in rehabilitation of patients with sports injuries. He is certified in the McKenzie approach for spine treatment. He has taken post-graduate courses in myofascial release and strain-counterstrain manual techniques.


Ann Pappas, PT, MSC

Ann earned her degree from McGill University and has over 23 years of experience working with a varied patient population. She has special interests in the treatment of sports related injuries, geriatric rehabilitation, as well as gait and balance issues. Ann has taken post graduate courses in manual therapy, dynamic lumbar stabilization, strain/counterstrain, myofascial release and muscle energy techniques. While working at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN she gained hands on experience in the treatment of pregnancy and postpartum back pain, TMJ and pelvic floor pain. 


Katie Scales, MSPT

Katie earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University in 1994 and a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College in 1989. She has over 16 years of experience working with a wide range of patient populations in both the acute care and outpatient settings. Special interests include orthopedic, trauma, post-surgical, pediatric and sports-related injuries. Katie has had post-graduate training in manual therapy, myofascial release, core stabilization, rehab of the cervical and lumbar complexes, and gait analysis. 


Teri Caputo, DPT

Teri is the newest member of the Norwood PT Staff. She recently earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Columbia University in May of 2011. Prior to entering the PT field, Teri earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and worked for a biotechnology company. Teri combines her engineering background with physical therapy principles to focus on and improve the biomechanics related to injuries. Teri is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and enjoys working with patients of all ages and diagnoses. Special interests include the rehabilitation of sports related injuries and neurological conditions.
